GDG Tech Sessions — GDG Aalborg Edition — An Introduction to Machine Learning
An Introduction to Machine Learning
During this workshop, you’ll be able to understand what machine learning is and how can one use it — it will be used the following platform https://colab.research.google.com/.
Moreover, the speaker will show you how to solve simple (self-made) problems using machine learning libraries. Which hopefully would later allow you to dive deeper into more complex examples.
Note: Before the workshop, please briefly grasp:
- Machine learning (Supervised/Unsupervised/Reinforcement);
- Classification vs Regression;
- Overfitting/Underfitting;
- Python basic syntax;
- Linear regression.
Who is the speaker?
Bartek is currently doing his final semester of Bachelor in Software Development at UCN – Denmark. Besides that, he’s also working as a part-time software developer at a Danish company – Steinwurf.
He’s most proficient in Python but I also know some Java, Javascript and C#. He started learning about ML during his 4th-semester elective course and since then it became his hobby. He tries to put some time into exploring new techniques/knowledge next to his studies and the job.
